2010 In Music

Who knows if RHCP is releasing their work in 2010 or 2011, but I'm looking forward to it even if I am a bit skeptical. I am looking forward to them playing Neil Young's thing on the night before the Grammy's too. Of course, I'm looking forward to anything Frusciante does this year, especially with Swahilli Blonde.

Relapse 2 will come out this year and I hope it's better than Relapse. It was good for what it was, but probably the worst of his four major albums.

I am VERY curious about Gold Cobra by Limp Bizkit. They are definitly my guilty pleasure band, but who cares? Album may suck, but who cares? IT'S ALL ABOUT THE HE-SAID, SHE-SAID BULLLSHIIIT!

I could care less about Blink-182 though....and this year's Grammy's which will blow.

how dare you desecrate the name of Blink 182. I cant wait for the new album their older stuff is definitely a kind of guilty pleasure. With the last two albums they released before the hiatus you could see them growing up more specifically with take of your pants and jacket and then with the self titled album they had finally found the perfect formula and was one of the best albums of the noughties.

Other stuff I'm looking forward to Chili Peppers just because its the goddam Chilis. Ocean Colour Scene's new album one of the bands spawned in 90's brit pop one of the heavier bands of the time but definitely always worth a listen.

The Souls album wasn't spectacular, but it was a few typical kick ass songs. Still enjoyable.

From the bands mentioned so far, the only ones I'm remotely interested in are Jimmy Eat World, and maybe Cake. I'm sick of Eminem and anything else is mediocre. I don't think RHCP will put out an album this year, but I hope I'm wrong.
